The board members of the Indian CEO Forum-Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on the Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody and had fruitful discussions on investments in the field of IT, Education, Manufacturing, Tourism and Logistics.

The officials headed by Chairman T. S. Prakash, represented diverse industries including automobile, banking, cement, fuel, glass, hospitality, infrastructure, logistics, packaging, paint, and pharmaceuticals.

Discussions also revolved around potential opportunities for reinvestment including setting up of industry advisory councils for key thrust areas.

Also, it was agreed that both parties would work together to foster more Indian investment and involvement in the economy, further strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Sri Lanka.
