The National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd. has issued Addendum No. 01 for the establishment of 250 MW / 1000 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System projects on a Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis.

Key Updates Under Addendum No. 01
- Proposal submission deadline extended to September 04, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
- RFP document availability extended until September 03, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
- Project land must be located within a maximum 5 km from the designated Grid Substation.
- Additional Grid Interconnection Confirmation requirements apply where Option 2 is selected.
- Initial BESS simulation models or test results are required as specified in the revised compliance schedule.
- Revised Energy Storage Agreement and Tripartite Agreement are included as part of the Addendum.
- Proposal Security validity has been revised to March 03, 2027.
- A project proponent may submit a maximum of two technical proposals.
